Iceland Fat Bike Set-up

My bike is my cherished vehicle for exploration and evolution. She’s an essential teammate that I rely on in extreme environments like riding across the entirety of Iceland recently.

I make my gear decisions based on reliability, performance, functionality and weight. There are a ton of things to consider when choosing gear for a self supported 6 day ride in a brutal winter environment like Iceland. A gear failure out there can literally be life or death and that’s why I spend a massive amount of time testing, adapting and dialing in my bike and gear before any expedition. Here’s what I was rolling across Iceland and I am happy to report I had no mechanicals or bike issues out there! Thanks to my partners for making this once in a lifetime Fire and Ice ride possible. ๐Ÿ™
