Jim Capra – Episode 54
In episode 54 we welcome Jim Capra, head coach at Tyler Hamilton Training, back to the show. We discuss ‘off season’ training plans and strategies to stay fit while also giving your body some time to recover. Tyler and Pete are slowing coming around to the idea of virtual cycling, and the social aspect of connecting with friends in other parts of the world and we also get into the importance of goal setting. Lastly, Peter throws out a challenge to Jim and Tyler; the CrossFit workout known as ‘The Murph’. We want to extend that challenge to our listeners as well! On December 2nd, we’ll be taking on The Murph, which is a 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats followed by another 1 mile run…all in under 1 hour (details in the episode!).
