Yesterday, on one of the most monumental days in our country’s history, Amanda’s words brought tears to my eyes and sparked an overwhelming sense of hope not only in my heart but in the hearts of millions. A new era dawned on our country. An era that will be fueled by love, compassion, hope, and the need to unify a nation that for years was ravaged by hate and division.

For the first time in history, little girls can turn on the television and see a woman as the Vice President of the United States. But, Vice President Harris is not just any woman. She is a daughter of immigrants, a woman of poise, and a beacon of light that will help President Biden lead our amazing country to a new light, a new us, a BETTER us.
