Races Cancelled? Join the Operation Inspiration Virtual Race tomorrow
If you’ve been stuck at home and all your races you trained for are cancelled, why not join a virtual race tomorrow?
It is not too late to join iRunFar’s Operation Inspiration Virtual Race tomorrow Saturday, April 4th. Get outside (or workout indoors), get in a good workout of an hour or more and raise money for the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
Courtney Dauwalter, Kilian Jornet, Lucy Bartholomew, YiOu Wang – some of the world’s best ultra runners and local Marin favorites have already signed up and people from 33 countries and most US states are participating and have raised over $25000 so far.
If you are interested in joining, you can sign up here.
To complete the virtual race, work out for at least one hour anytime on Saturday, April 4th. It’s an honors-system, but you can share proof on Strava or social media regardless.
There will be a random draw of more than 130 prizes worth $15000 and iRunFar’s live race coverage across social media platform.
Important Guidelines:
- Follow your local government rules and guidelines
- Follow social distancing and health suggestions
- Don’t run with people outside of your household and don’t go on remote and risky runs
