Mikaela Shiffrin’s amazing Accomplishments
Today we will be diving into the amazing accomplishments of great ski racer, Mikaela Shiffrin.
In my opinion, Mikaela Shiffrin will be the most dominant and overall best ski racer of all time. At only 25 years of age, she had already won 66 FIS world cup races and has been on the podium 96 times! Plus she has only ever started 176 races. She has also started in 5 Olympic game races and has 2 gold medals and three total medals. At age 25, these are amazing accomplishments.
Think about this, the all-time win record for male or female is held by Ingemar Stenmark with 86 victories. Mikaela is only 25 and needs only 21 more World Cup wins to take the record. Even after missing almost the whole second half of the season after her father’s tragic death she was still able to achieve 2nd Overall, 5th in Downhill, 2nd in Slalom, 3rd in Giant Slalom, and 7th in Super G. Most racers race their whole career and if they ever have a season like this they are super happy but Mikaela reached the feat even after missing so much of her season.
Mikaela’s season last year was one of the best ever, she had a record-breaking 2,204 overall points. And she placed first in almost all disciplines. 1st Overall, 1st Slalom, 1st Giant Slalom, 1st Super G. Mikaela’s 2019 season was arguably the best season of all time, male or female.
As I said before, Mikaela Shiffrin will be, by the end of her career, the most dominant and overall best ski racer of all time. I hope you agree with me after this but if not it is ok, she just is the best.
