Hi Again, today I will be talking about the current top five quarterbacks in the NFL. For example, I won’t include Tom Brady even though he is probably the best because he isn’t right now.

Quarter Back

5. Deshaun Watson

4. Russel Wilson

3. Drew Brees

2. Lamar Jackson

1. Patrick Mahomes

I think that Patrick Mahomes deserves to be the best quarterback in the league because of how well he played under pressure and how he can play the game both ways under pressure. That is the most important thing. A lot of people would argue that Lamar Jackson is the best QB in the league because of his insane running ability and being able to throw pretty well but my problem with him is that when he gets under pressure and he needs to throw the ball to get the lead back he can’t do it. For example, in the Titans vs. Ravens divisional-round game when the Ravens were down at the end of the game and they didn’t have the time to run the ball Lamar needed to lead the team throwing it. He wasn’t able to do that in the end and that is the main reason why they lost to the Titans. But with Patrick Mahomes, you can rely on him saving the team, for example in all three of his playoff games this year his team was behind by a lot going into the fourth quarter but unlike Lamar, he was able to lead his team with his throwing ability to wins.

Running Back

5. Saquon Barkley

4. Ezekiel Elliot

3. Dalvin Cook

2. Derrick Henry

1. Christian McCaffrey

I think that Christan McCaffrey deserves to be considered the best running back in the NFL last season because of how to dominate he was the whole season. He had one of the first 1000 1000 seasons with 1387 rushing yards and 1005 with a total of 19 touchdowns. That is insane! He is the perfect all-around running back, he made the All-Pro team at two positions! Running Back and Flex! All these stats have to support him being the best running back of this year. Although, some people might argue that Derrick Henry was the best in the NFL and I think that at the end of the season that was completely correct but Christian McCaffrey had a super-strong whole season while Derrick Henry’s best came only in the last half of the season so I think that McCaffrey deserves to be crowned the best running back in the NFL.

Tight End

5. Jared Cook

4. Austin Hooper

3. Zach Ertz

2. Travis Kelce

1. George Kittle

I think that George Kittle deserves to be considered the best Tight End in the NFL because of how good he was the whole season and how dominate he was. Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz were both definitely very strong options because of how good they were the whole season and how good all of their stats were, Travis Kelce with 1229 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season and Zach Ertz with 916 yards and six touchdowns. But George Kittle to me was just better and more aggressive. George little also had great stats too. He had 1035 yards and five touchdowns during the regular season. All of these elements combined prove that George Kittle was the best Tight End in the NFL last season.

Wide Receiver

5. Tyreek Hill

4. Davante Adams

3. Deandre Hopkins

2. Julio Jones

1. Michael Thomas

I think that Michale Thomas deserves to be considered the top wide receiver in the NFL because of all aspects of his game. He has the perfects body for a receiver, tall, strong, big hands, and can jump super high. He is also just very skilled at everything he does and I think that he 100% deserves to be considered the best wide receiver in the NFL. Some people might say that Julio Jones or Deandre Hopkins is the best and I totally agree, up until this year I always thought that Julio was the best receiver in the NFL but I think that Michale Thomas just edges him out. His stats are insane, 149 receptions (NFL record), 1725 receiving yards, and 9 touchdowns. I know that some people think that stats aren’t the only thing that matters and again, I completely agree but I think that Michale Thomas’s stats this year were just too good and off the charts that I could leave him off the number one spot.

Top Team Offensive Lines

5. Tennessee Titans

4. New Orleans Saints

3. Indianapolis Colts

2. Philadelphia Eagles

1. Baltimore Ravens

I think the Ravens had the best offensive line in the NFL this past year. They led the best rushing team in all of football and did it very successfully. Without them, Lamar Jackson wouldn’t be even close to as good as he was last season. I know the Eagles and the Colts both had great O-lines but I think that the Ravens were better because unlike the Ravens, the Eagles didn’t lead a too powerful run game and although the colts did, they didn’t do it as well or protect Jacoby Brissett, as well as the Ravens protected Lamar Jackson.

Corner Back

5. Casey Hayward

4. Marlon Humphrey

3. Jaire Alexander

2. Tre’Davious White

1. Stephon Gilmore

I think that Stephon Gilmore easily wins this title although Tre’Davious White was very good and in almost any other season he would be the top pick Gilmore was just way to good. There was no way you could escape him. Even star wide receiver Amari Cooper didn’t get a single catch while matching up against Gilmore. This was a pretty obvious first place for Gilmore.

Defensive End

5. Calais Campbell

4. Joey Bosa

3. Nick Bosa

2. Cameron Jordan

1. Danielle Hunter

I know that most people would disagree with me but I think that this year the best defensive end in the game is Danielle Hunter of the Minnesota Vikings. I think that Danielle Hunter was the best, most impactful, defensive end in the NFL. He did so much for the Vikings that the rest of the players on this list didn’t do for their team as well as racking up an incredible 14.5 sacks. That is why he wins it over great players like Cameron Jordan or Nick Bosa and Joey Bosa.

Defensive Tackle

5. Grady Jarrett

4. Geno Atkins

3. JJ Watt

2. Fletcher Cox

1. Aaron Donald

This was another easy decision. Aaron Donald was the best defensive tackle in the NFL this year and almost one the Defensive Player of the Year award for the third time in a row. He attracts two or three offensive linemen every play and still manages to get to the quarterback as well as freeing up space for his teammates to get sacks. That is why he was the easy decision for best defensive tackle in the NFL.

Safety (Not Specific)

5. Earl Thomas

4. Micah Hyde

3. Harrison Smith

2. Jamal Adams

1. Minka Fitzpatrick

I think that Minka Fitzpatrick definitely deserves this title because of how much he changed the Steelers. He showed up to a defense that had lost its momentum and completely brought it back and re-started the Steel Curtain. He was the one that changed the Steelers and even gave them a chance to make the playoffs and he definitely deserves the title. He also had five interceptions which was tied for fourth-most overall.

Middle Line Backer

5. Darius Leonard

4. Leighton Vander Esch

3. Lavonte David

2. Luke Kuechly

1.Bobby Wagner

Bobby Wagner definitely deserves this title even though there are many other amazing middle linebackers, some included on this list. He has been the most dominate for years and continued it this season by having one of his strongest seasons yet at age 29. He led the NFL in tackles with an absurd 159 tackles. This was for sure his award to take home.

Outside Line Backer (Not Specific)

5. Lorenzo Alexander

4. Dont’a Hightower

3. Von Miller

2. T.J Watt

1. Shaquil Barrett

Shaq Barrett had the best year of his career by far! He led the NFL with an incredible 19.5 sacks from his outside linebacker position and impacted the Buccaneers team very much. This was an easy decision.

Top Five Overall

5. Stephon Gilmore

4. Christian McCaffrey

3. Michael Thomas

2. Lamar Jackson

1. Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes should have won the MVP in my opintion. He was amazing in the playoffs and in the final stretch of the year. He was the best player in the NFL last year.
