Why Fantasy Football makes Watching NFL games so much better
Today I will be talking about why playing fantasy football makes watching the sport of football so much better in so many different ways.
#1: It Keeps You Involved in the Game
For me when I am watching football the only reason I stay for longer than an hour is that I love watching how my fantasy players do and how many points they get. For example, if my quarterback gets above 22 points I am happy but if he gets above 27 I am super happy and while I am watching the game I fell super intrigued to keep watching so I can see how he does and if he gets even more points. Also, it makes it so that you know so much more about the NFL and then when you watch the games even if its the playoffs where your fantasy players don’t play you can know more about the game and understand what is happening which makes it super fun. For me, when the playoffs start and my fantasy season ends I make a lineup with all my players that are playing and write it down on a piece of paper and then after the week of playoff games I go through all of them and calculate how many points I scored. I think that is pretty involved.
#2: When you’re with your friends you have more Fun
Watching football with my friends, before I played fantasy, was always fun but it is so much more fun when there is something you are competing for. For example, now that I have fantasy I am always laughing about bad plays my players did or yelling with joy about an amazing play my guy did. This can also be true for you if you start to play fantasy.
#3: More Family Time
Playing in a family fantasy league can also create more family time which is great. For example, you might be talking about how all your players did in the past week or who you are thinking to start for the next week of games and you are discussing it and being together. Playing in a family league can also have the same results as a friends league.,you get to have more fun watching the games than you would have if you hadn’t been playing fantasy.
